This will be the place to come to view examples of the children’s work and events they are involved in.
The aims of this group are:
- Provide an opportunity for children to talk with an author and gain valuable insight into the writing process.
- Give children experience writing a variety of genre.
- Children adapt their writing to suit a purpose.
- Encourage an attitude of persistence to revisit writing to make improvements using thinking tools.
- Extend children’s vocabulary.
- Guide children through the entire process of producing a quality finished piece of writing to be published and shared with others.
